Marty Miller’s career has been defined by a genuine passion for client success and a love for helping others simplify the complex in wealth management. A life-long learner of all things financial planning, Marty has been honored by Barron’s as a Top Advisor for three consecutive years and named among the Financial Times Top 400 Advisers in 2016. He frequently shares his industry experience and expertise at national events all over the country.
Marty graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with a degree in Finance. Prior to founding MA Private Wealth, he managed a private wealth practice at Ameriprise Financial Services, Inc.
Marty and his wife Pamela have three sons, Tommy, Justin, and Ryan, and a golden retriever named Buddy. The Millers enjoy playing sports, exploring the great outdoors (particularly the Lake Tahoe area), and practicing underwater photography when scuba diving as a family.
Erica Arroyo cares deeply about the well-being and success of MA Private Wealth’s clients, and she takes great pleasure in helping others feel confident when navigating complex financial decisions. As Chief Operating Officer, she is proud to lead a team of fiduciaries who prioritize integrity and always doing what is right for their clients.
Erica guides MA Private Wealth clients through the financial planning process. She also focuses specifically on pre and post retirement planning.
Erica and Jack, her spouse of 13 years, love to spend time outdoors and will find every opportunity to visit the Big Sur area with their two miniature dachshunds. She currently volunteers with “Be My Eyes,” assisting those who are visually impaired in accomplishing tasks that require sight.
Vijay Patel joined MA Private Wealth in the summer of 2021 and works with clients primarily on retirement planning and stock option/equity planning for pre-IPO and public companies.
Vijay studied Finance at San Francisco State University and is currently on track to achieve the Chartered Financial Consultation (ChFC) designation.
Vijay and his wife Reena are both Bay Area natives, and they have three children: a son and twin daughters. He and his wife enjoy sports, hiking, and supporting disadvantaged students in their local communities.
Becka Jennings brings 14 years of experience facilitating client success to the MA Private Wealth team. She prioritizes building strong relationships and delivering white-glove service, supporting our advisors in helping clients achieve their financial goals.
When Becka is not focused on making sure MA Private Wealth clients find success, you can find her on the athletic field, either cheering loudly for her beloved 49’ers or rooting on one of her five children. She enjoys her large extended family, taking every opportunity to spend time with her cousins and other relatives.
As Relationship Manager, Gabriela Carreno strives to make every part of working with MA Private Wealth an exceptional experience for clients. Her 17-year track record of customer service success allows her to quickly build relationships, proactively anticipate client needs, and effectively solve problems. She enjoys celebrating with MA Private Wealth clients when important life milestones are reached or goals are achieved.
Gabriela loves to spend time outdoors - so much that she now leads a group of teenagers on a Yosemite hiking trip each year. She also loves to dance, particularly to salsa music.
Mallory Davis brings a unique blend of industry-specific expertise and knowledge from her past roles as an Investment Operations Specialist and an Associate Wealth Advisor.
As a Relationship Manager, she is excited to interface directly with MA Private Wealth clients as she loves to make a difference in people’s lives.
Mallory has two bachelors’ degrees in Psychology and Human Development and Family Studies from the University of Utah, and she also has a Master of Business Administration degree (MBA).
When not working or pursuing her CFP (Certified Financial Planning) designation, she and her family are out backpacking, hiking, camping, or kayaking around the Bay Area. Mallory and her husband have two children, a 9 year old, Archer, and a 3 year old, Atlas, and a poodle-mix named Mia.
