Spring is in the air, and with it comes a season of growth and new beginnings. It feels like the perfect time to share that I've recently enrolled in coursework to become a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER®. This next step in my professional journey isn't just about adding letters after my name—it's about growing my expertise to better serve our clients and contribute more to our team.
Earning my CFP® has been a goal ever since I decided to pursue a career in this industry. When I joined MA Private Wealth in September 2023, I couldn't have imagined how quickly this timeline would accelerate. The past year and a half has been nothing short of incredible, and the support from everyone on our team has given me the confidence to take on this challenge now rather than later.
Why pursue this certification now? I'm motivated by the opportunity to provide an even higher level of expertise and service both for our team and clients. The CFP® designation demonstrates our commitment to maintaining the highest standards of credibility and expertise. It reinforces our fiduciary duty to provide advice that truly aligns with each client's unique situation.
The motivation behind my professional growth comes from several important places in my life. First, I'm incredibly grateful for how the MA Private Wealth team has encouraged me to take this step—both for my own development and for our firm. I've also been lucky enough to have an extraordinary role model in my mother, one of the toughest and most hardworking women I know. Over 20+ years, I've watched her climb from the sales department to Chief Strategy Officer at her company. Her journey has shown me what dedication and continuous learning can achieve.
At its core, my drive comes from a genuine passion to help people and make a difference in their lives. Each step I take in my professional development—including this CFP® certification—increases my ability to positively impact others through thoughtful financial guidance. Looking ahead, I'm excited to continue growing, drawing inspiration from the successful people I'm fortunate to work with and learn from every day.
